Our general statement is that we want you to be fully satisfied with any item you have purchased from us, if you don't like it for any reason just return it to us for a refund. We have built a customer satisfaction report second to none, if there are any issues please telephone or email and we will sort it out.
Deliveries
Goods will usually be dispatched same working day if ordered before 13.00 and next working day if ordered after 13.00 and no longer than 2 working days for UK. Most items arrive within 1 working day after dispatch. Please ensure that someone is available to sign for the package. Our delivery charges are slightly higher as we use Next Day Courier signed for delivery. The courier company will send an email and/or sms on day of delivery with an approximate time. This is the most secure way of postage. All items are trackable. Someone must be there to sign for the delivery. A signature is always required on delivery, so if you aren´t going to be at home we´re more than happy to deliver to a work address. Alternatively you can request (although not guarantee) the delivery driver leave your order in a safe place or with a neighbour. Please note that parcels not signed for at the delivery address will not be insured against loss or damage and we will not be held responsible.
Ben Nevis Clothing will not be held responsible for any delays/damages due to third party carriers. It is the customers responsibility to make all reasonable efforts to enquire into the whereabouts of a dispatched order and collect from any holding agent. Cards are normally left to advise of an attempted delivery.
If the ordered item is not in stock and has been shown as in stock, you will be contacted within two working days with expected delivery date, if this is not suitable then off course you will have the option for a full refund.
Please note that deliveries in December can take up to 5 working days, though it is usually 1-3 working days.
Important Disclaimer
Deliveries are undertaken on your behalf, it is advised that you arrange your own delivery, however we understand that this is not always convenient so we can arrange delivery for you and you agree that this is your request. If you want to use your own arrangement, as we recomend, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can hold your parcel until you arrange for collection. If you opt not to use your own delivery arrangement, we cannot be held responsible for parcels not been delivered on the date and time specified by the couriers and you shall have no claims against us, Ben Nevis Clothing.
Deliveries outside UK
All items for non UK addresses are dispatched within 3 working days using International Delivery companies or Royal Mail International First Class Signed for post. Actual delivery date is out of our hands but we have found that it does not usually take longer than ten days but please allow 3 weeks. We cannot proceed with claims for non delivered items until 30 days after post date. It is the customers responsibility to make all reasonable efforts to enquire into the whereabouts of a dispatched order and collect from any holding agent or customs department. Cards are normally left to advise of an attempted delivery.
Important Notice to Foreign Buyers located outside of the UK/European Union including the Channel Islands. Please note that importing goods from another country can mean that your national Customs authorities may charge you Customs Duty and/or other additional related taxes.YOU as the importer, are responsible for paying any such taxes. We have no control over what taxes you may be charged by your own national tax authorities and are not responsible for compensating you for payment of any such taxes. If your goods are retained or confiscated by your Customs authorities for any reason, it is your responsibilty to negotiate with them the terms on which such goods might be released to you. If your goods are undeliverable for any reason and are returned to us, we reserve the right to reclaim from you any associated costs which may be charged back to us.
Returns
Any item that has not been used or worn can be returned for a replacement within 14 days after delivery, not affecting your statutory rights. This period is extended to 6 weeks for Christmas presents. If the item is not to your satisfaction and has not been used or worn and is returned within 14 days we will refund the cost minus the postage charges. The refund will be processed once your goods are received and inspected. If you ordered an incorrect item, wrong colour or wrong size you will have to pay all postage charges, if we dispatched an incorrect or faulty item, we pay for return postage charges. You will need to post any returns using Royal Mail signed for delivery, unless you have your own preferred courier. We cannot be held responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit to us, please ensure you obtain a certificate of posting or signature. Please enclose your name, address and contact details and if possible the Order number with any returns with instructions.

Non Delivered Items
All customer orders returned to us due to non delivery or non collection will inncur the couriers returns fee, currently £15.
If an order is returned to us due to non delivery or non collection and you ask us to re-send it then we will charge the same postage amount as paid with the original order in addition to the returns fee.
Cancellations
You may cancel your order for a full refund prior to your order being shipped. If you cancel your order after it has been shipped, you are responsible for any and all postage charges.
Distance Selling Regulations
Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have a right to cancel your order (prior to shipment) or returned within 7 days for a refund. This does not apply to Special order items or items made to your specification.
General Disclaimer
We shall have no liability to you for any failure or delay in supply or delivery or for any damage or defect to goods supplied or delivered hereunder that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control this includes without limitation weather conditions, strikes and other industrial disputes.
